So high  At an altitude of 2300 metres, the highest resort in Europe is the culminating point of the 3 Vallées, the biggest ski area in the world (600 km of pistes).

Val Thorens guarantees an incomparable quality of abundant snow from the 24th of November 2007 to the 4th of May 2008: 99% of the ski area is situated at above 2000 m and over 35% of it is equipped with artificial snow making machines. From the top of the Cime Caron at 3200 m, you can discover a 360° panorama over the whole of the Alps.
